William "Mike" Henry
1954 - 2009
Mike established 88 Ranch Outfitters not only as a way to make a living, but because of his love of hunting. He loved to hunt from the time he was a young boy. Living in Wyoming and on a ranch gave him many opportunities to pursue his love of the outdoors and hunting.
Mike took numerous hunting trips to many areas of the state, where he hunted antelope, deer, elk and mountain lions. He also had the good fortune of taking trips to Idaho, Colorado, Arizona, the Northwest Territories and Alaska. He hunted with family and friends, and those trips comprised some of his fondest memories.
Mike was a wonderful husband, an exceptional father, and an extraordinary friend. We all miss him, but we know he is in a better place and is at peace. He left us with so many good memories and experiences, and we are grateful. After all the measure of a life is not its duration, but its donation.
