General Information:

  This is a family-run outfitting and guiding operation.  We are experts in this business, having guided hunters for over 24 years. Our family ranch is one of the oldest in Wyoming established in 1877.  Located along the Bozeman Trail it became famous for it’s bucking horses and was a welcome stage stop for many weary travelers.  Most of our guiding takes place on ranches, such as ours, that are primarily private land.   We can offer hunts that are second to none.  Keeping tabs on the game movement throughout the year and knowing where the trophies are is our business.  We offer quality hunts for trophy animals, while managing our game herds.  Our goal is to provide everyone with the opportunity of a quality hunting experience.  Our game herds are in great shape and now is the time to book your hunt!

How Do We Hunt:  Location

Our home camp is located on our ranch in the middle of the Powder River Basin in central Wyoming.  We are located north and east of Casper, on the head of the Cheyenne River.  Air service is available to Casper by United Airlines and Delta.  You provide your own transportation to and from the ranch.

All of your hunting is done from a vehicle.  We locate and glass from four-wheel drive vehicles and then complete the stalk on foot.  Let us emphasize that all of our hunts are “fair chase.”  We do not chase any animals with our vehicles.  All of our guides are very competent and know the business. 

Housing and Meals

We have a fully modern hunting lodge that is both clean and comfortable.  All your meals will be home cooked morning and night, with a light lunch provided in the middle of the day. All you need to bring is your sleeping bag and your personal gear.
